I have a very simple animation - a rectangular box containing a video component.
the Test works fine but the export doesn't - I get a Compiler Error message
"1084: syntax error: expecting identifier before class"
can anyone tell me what to do please?

See the solution in actionscript 3 - Syntax error: expecting identifier before class. Line 1? - Stack Overflow and let us know if it helped.

Thanks,
No, it didn’t help, I’m afraid.
Firstly, I’m using an HTML Canvas document – as per the Adobe tutorial
Secondly, I don’t know where to look for the CSS code in the file.

I also have the same problem, i'm using HTML canvas too, When I import a video, I use "component" in the "window" menu. I didn't use actionscript to insert that video. when the test, movie can be played. It's just that when exported there is the same error. Anyone help please?
