Export animations for mobile apps.

Vector based animations are populating mobile apps very quicly since the intorduction of the Lottie plugin for After Effects. It exports animations in a format (JSON) that mobile developers can easily embed in their native code for either iPhone and Android.

Their claim is: "The Future of Animation and Interactive Design is here", and they seem to have a very strong point. It works like a charm. But only on After Effects. Why?

I can't find a similar solution when using Animate. We are cut off of interactive design for native mobile apps. What is the advice from Adobe Animate? Are we also moving towards the future? Help!

Ps: I am cross-linking this post on github, asking for the same question:

https://github.com/airbnb/lottie-web/issues/1604

Apparantly there are lots of designers and developers waiting for an answer.
