Hello,
I'm new to Adobe Animate, and I created an interactive infographic using multiple scenes and interactive buttons that play each scene when clicked. Due to the interactivity, the file only seems to work in flash (.swf), which is not supported by Adobe Portfolio. Any ideas on how I can convert my file while still maintaining its interactivity so that I can upload to my portfolio?

It would probably be best to simply record a video demonstrating the interactivity. Even if you were to convert it to another format - it would still be difficult to integrate.

You can try to convert your swf to html5 canvas. I dont know if portfilio supports html5 canvas elements but if you can then try to convert your swf to html5

Adobe Portfolio DOES NOT allow you to insert custom code. It's a closed system. However, you may embed <iframe> code from approved websites like YouTube, Vimeo and others. See link below.

I think for your purposes, you would need to publish your animation to another website you control and then add an external link to it from your Portfolio editing console.
In case you missed the announcement regarding Flash Player, it will be permanently discontinued after Dec 31st. Most browsers like latest Safari have already stopped supporting it. So Flash on the web is dead.
