Extensions in Flash CS3?

New Here ,
May 09, 2007 May 09, 2007
In the older versions of Flash there was the "Extensions Manager" for installing new extensions into Flash. Now there is no such thing. So how do I add extensions to Flash CS3? And are there any extensions compatible with Flash CS3 yet? Is it possible to integrate the old (Flash 8) extensions into Flash CS3?
It would be a huge dissapointment, if I upgrade to Flash CS3 and there would be no way to use the additional commands I had in Flash 8!

Gah, I have found a primitive solution to that: since the Extensin Manager is still installed on my computer, when I add an extension (*.mxp) it copies the java script and the xml files into flash 8 commands folder. Then I take it from there and paste into flash CS3 commands folder. And it works. But this is a lame way to do it. Isn't there any way to get the JSFL and the XLM files instead of downloading the MXP file?

There is an Extension Manager for CS3 .. I have it and it works fine with
Flash CS3. Did you purchase Flash as a standalone? I didn't, but I'm sure
it's gotta be in there.

The new manager doesn't come with Flash CS3 and is not listed on the Adobe Website download page! I had to search for it on the net to find a link to download the new version...
Now I'm fine! Thanks.
