Hi,

when i test the film, a movie clip repeats itself over and over again on stage. But it should only play once.

How can i stop a movie clip at the end without script?

If it doesn't need to be a movie clip, change its symbol type to graphic and set its loop type to play once.

I changed its symbol type to graphic and set its loop type to play once. But is still a loop. Why?

The graphic symbol has 15 frames and is in a movie clip. This movie clip is in the main timeline with 60 frames.

You said you changed it to a graphic, then you say the loop is in a movie clip. What statement is the truth?

(the graphic is a child of a looping movieclip so the op is probably confused.)

you can't.

but if it doesn't need to be a movieclip, use @ClayUUID 's suggestion

if it's movieclip, add this.stop() to it's last frame.
