How long will AIR Support Actionscript/Flash?

Adobe will drop Flash Support next year. How long will AIR support old software, programmed in Flash and Action Script? And will SWF-files still work?

Are you asking if Animate will support AIR moving forward? Yes. 

 

Animate will also still support the SWF file format following 2020.

well, since adobe's stopped supporting air sdk development (and have delegated that to a 3rd party that's charging for its use), it seems pretty reasonable (imo) to anticipate the end of actionscript and air.

 

maybe that won't happen for 10 years or longer, but i don't think that would be a prudent wager.
