I'm sorry to bring the bad news, mate, but there is one such topic here at least once a week.
If you search the forum you will discover that you are not alone.
Only Wacom devices are supported by Animate (at this stage).
Animate is not Photoshop or Illustrator.
Your problem is common and I have never seen a real clear solution.
Some people report non-Wacom tablets working but they never really know how they made them work.

Actually, I was expecting that answer. It was more of a confirmation than a possible hope kkkkk.
No, it's not the ilustrator or the photo shop. But being from the same family could work.
But I really appreciate your attention friend = D

Hi again, mate!
I know for a fact that the dev team have been trying (and will keep trying) to make it work with the MS Surface Pen.
I am hopeful that if/when this happens all the non-Wacom drawing devices will start working as well.
Animate is Flash. It has completely different genetics and is not from the Adobe family, only superficially looks like a cousin.
At its core it is still the Macromedia program which everyone loved (or hated), had glorious past and revolutionised animation and the web.
And it carries all Flash's baggage too.
All the best!

Understand.
Well, hopefully one day they can solve it right? Until then, let's play with animate in the old mode kkkkk
