i cant locate my adobe animate 2020 auto save or recovery files ive been working on it for 2 days i need help

click file>preferences>general and make sure auto-recovery is ticked (and not as shown in below screenshot).

that's good to hear.

p.s.  you should be even more cautious and periodically save your fla files with increasing version numbers appended.
