I edited a downloaded fla in animate and after saving it, my progress is gone

Hi,

I downloaded a fla to make some fnf mods, but after saving my edits that i made, i reopened it and realised my progress is gone. what do i do?

You said you downloaded it and edited it - was the FLA still in your downloads folder after you edited it? If so, do you have any kind of system cleaner software scheduled to run at night?
