is the car moving because it's a movieclip or graphic with movement along its own timeline?

is the car moving because it's tweened on the timeline shown in your embedded image?

whichever timeline contains the car's movement, there needs to be a this.stop() at the end of its timeline (to stop the timeline from looping).
