(important) how do i recover lost files

i went to bed last night without saving the things i was working on. i think it crashed in the middle of the night somehow. becuase when i woke up it was closed. it said that 3 auto recovery files were detected but there are still some missing things. how do i get them back please help

You can try Recuva, just in case.
