Hello! I'm not sure if it is a memory issue or what but everytime I create a new layer, a lower layer disappears from visibility. Maybe I have a setting on that limits how many layers are visible? Please let me know. And I tried turning advanced layers off it did not change anything.

In the video I attached I am making layers higher up in the hierachy visible which is causing the ones at the bottom to disappear.

I'm having the same problem, and it's certainly not a memory issue, as I had a generous aamoutn allocated to premiere, and have 64gb of ram.

The problem can sometimes be fixed by nesting clips, but not always.

And the layers are all comeing from the same source, the same video clip.

I think I found a solution to this problem and overal i think this is just a simple glitch. But I had the exact same issue when I was creating a relatively simplistic animation. now i'll note that I was importing png images, but how I fixed this was by converting those png layers into bitmaps by tracing their bitmaps in the modify section. Now usually I wouldn't do this until I've imported all my layers but by doing this after i'd import a png or file, it was able to add more layers without the lower layers disappearing behind the canvas of the file. So I'd try tracing your layers bitmaps after you insert them, i rly hope this helps 🙂
