making global changes to assets on a layer

Hi, Is there anyway to make global changes to all assets on a single layer? For example, I want to change the fill color from black to white for all the different text boxes placed on a given layer all at once. Similarly, if I want to change the position, scale or font type, etc.? Thanks...

if all your textfields are symbols, yes > edit the symbol.  otherwise, no.
