This isn't a real problem since the fix is easy, but it puzzles me no end that in order to install (some?) Adobe programs I have to shut Microsoft Outlook down. Is there an access conflict to some of the components, or what?
It isn't required when updating programs, just installing them, and I don't know if it affects all CC programs or not. I can say that it affects both FrameMaker and Acrobat.
Is it just me, or has this happened to anyone else?
Acrobat adds many Office add-ons so Office must be stopped. In general all apps should be stopped for an install.

Hi,
Well, I lived it, but because of the integration that acrobat has and other options with the CC, but as you say it shouldn't be.

I remember discussion of this back when I was using CS4.
Microsoft Office and Adobe don't play well together.
