Hi, I am using ActionScript to create animations. The Export Video/Media option is great except when I want to create a PNG sequence with a transparent background. Then I am getting an ugly edge appear...

Any ideas? Many thanks. 🙏

i'm not sure what steps you're taking to cause that problem, but the solution is to use bitmap smoothing.

in your library, right click the bitmap(s)>click properties>tick allow smoothing:

Thanks for the response. The graphics aren't images though - they are vector shapes. The properties give me MovieClip settings and not the "allow smoothing" option.

This is what I've made:  https://ello.co/psychrome/post/csw4eiy1uhqj1hfljkmphg

It works well but not if I export with a transparent background. Thanks.

then that aliasing effect is probably introduced in adobe media encoder.  check in that forum to see if anything can be done.
