shape merging problem in Animate 2020

I drew somthing with brush tool. And then I tried to change the shapes. When I overlaps a shape with the other, it changes unpredictably. I attach a video, please take a look.

Anyone has the same problem with me? Is it some bug or is it as it is?

I've used animate and flash so long and I think this acts so weird.

I've seen this only in animate 2020

Please help. I want to know at least if anyone thinks it works normal or not.

Thanks.

I don't have 20.0 or 20.0.1, but just tried 19.2.1 and it is the same also. There is no reason to believe that 20.0 would be any different. They all do it.

It really is a funny way it behaves, mate, but I just tested in AA 20.0.2, 15.2, Flash CS6 and Flash 8 and more or less all behave the in same way.

So, it seems that you are right that it's a bit weird, but wrong that it only happens in 2020.

Thank you so much.

I may have not noticed this happened before.

Now I want to know if I can to to 20.0.1 or 20. 0? And these are not behaving this way?

Yes, mine is 20.0.2

Thank you so much, Nick.

Same with me, mate!

I've never noticed it before 🙂

It really is very unpredictable and weird.

I really appreciate your reply.

** many sorry for me keeping changing my sentence on the previous post. That made your reply sounds strange.

Sorry for my English. And thank you very much.
