Somethings wrong with my brush tool

When I'm trying to draw anything with the brush tool most of the lines disappear after I release the pen. Specifically intersecting lines. I'm still very new to animate, but this can't be right.
I saw someone who had the same issue and said it was caused by corruption when downloading. Idk how to fix that... and I use a Wacom intuos if that helps?

Hi mate,

That's definitely not how it should be. Could be related to some brush setting and the resulting shapes having too many points.

Have you tried higher smoothing setting?

One thing that might help with intersecting shapes is if you switch Object drawing mode on. Then each shape will be its own object.

It will make editing easier too.

Later if you want to flatten everything, you just select the whole drawing and Break Apart.

You can also check the Brush Modes in Properties and set to Paint Normal
