Start stop audio button using html5

Hey up i'm trying to create a start / stop play button for an audio file within adobe AN, i can do it using action script 3, but not using html5 as it only plays audio as events, any suggestions.

create an instance name when instantiating your sound (eg:

var soundInstance = createjs.Sound.play("soundID");

then you can use soundInstance to stop or pause play:

soundInstance.stop();

or 

soundInstance.pause();
