Hello, I'm quite new to Action Script and Adobe Animate. I created a movieclip and put a button over it. Then I added an eventlistener to that button, so that the movieclip is playing on mouse hover an another eventlistener that the movieclip stops on mouse out. Everything works fine except that the sound I attached into one layer of the movieclip doesn't stop playing on mouse out, it continues till it ends. Is there a way to make it stop somewhere in the middle of it as well? Hope you can understand my english and my problem.
up = auf, should have the stop

in the properties panel, assign the sound's 'sync' property to stream.

this is what your properties should look like.

thanks a lot! That worked for the sounds in movieclips, but it somehow doesn't work for sounds attached to a button state.

use start and stop instead of stream.

Sorry I'm a little confused here. I tried "start" before, but where should I choose "stop" then?
The left picture is the button where I put the sound on the "over" state. The right picture is the properties panel where I choose "Start" for the sound synchronisation.
