Hi, im trying to create a animated video that is backed by music, but cant figure out a way to have the mp3 file play throughout every scene, I also need to have the audio file "stream" so as i animate It wont go out of sync. Also any other tips for starting your first big project would be appreicated.

Thanks a ton.

Hi mate,

Do not use Scenes. It is considered to be bad practice within the industry.

Organise your file with Timeline folder layers. It's fine to have a long timeline with hindreds of layers and thousands of frames.

To preview sections when exporting SWF, you can use simple label and go to and play script.

As for the rest, here is a lengthy article which I wrote many years ago:  http://flash-powertools.com/workflow/

You may find it informative.
