SVG picture imported to adobe animate

Hi,

I wanted to ask you if  or how I can break down into parts (that I can move and animate) imported SVG picture? I used lasso tool but it doesn ´t work. For example I imported human body and I want to move with the hand.

Hi.

 

Select the imported artwork and use the Break Apart command (Modify > Break Apart (Ctrl/Cmd + B)) to separate groups, instances, and bitmaps into ungrouped, editable elements.

Use the command as many times as necessary until the artwork is separated the way you want it.
