Transform scale of dynamic text box query

I'm creating a HTML 5 canvas.

I've got dynamic text. Is there a way to animate the scale so it starts smalls and gets bigger?

I am presuming this needs to be a symbol so it can tween from small to large. But the text needs to be dynamic...

So wrap the dynamic textfield in a named movieclip. Tween the movieclip.
