Did anyone experience the problem with missing audio after export from Animate? I simply cannot export   a single animation containing audio. Could someone help me?

Thanks for help.

It can depend on which version of Animate you are using. For some versions if you exported sound that started on frame 1, the sound would be missing. Making it start on frame 2 solves that.

I see you have received a solution. Another option is to activate the sound through a script rather than inserting it on your timeline. You can activate a sound from an external file (one not imported into the FA file) with:

var myAudio = new Audio('sounds/myAudio.mp3');
myAudio.play();

In the above case myAudio.mp3 is in a subfolder to the html called sounds.

Hi @kglad

I was thinking you were exporting to HTML5 and then could make sure your audio file was correctly placed in the appropriate location. If you are exporting as a video file, you would need to put the audio on the timeline in Animate as video export would ignore scripts.

i'm not the questioner so i'm not doing anything mentioned here and i have no questions about anything in this thread.

i'm just pointing out that you're posting a solution that doesn't apply to anything in this thread.

Hi kglad

I now see the mistake I made in missing that the part that it was about exporting to video.

Anyway, I have given a solution if someone was exporting from Animat to HTLM5.

OK - that's not exactly what the peron asked which I acknowlege. It still could be useful for someone else coming across this thread and having audio issues and is exporting to HTML5.
