Why, after applying a transform tool or adding a new frame, does the frame rate start to change in a frame by frame to a random value?
If you pause, the frame rate takes the initial value

Looks like it's displaying the current effective frame rate, which is always sluggish in the IDE.
Now, I would argue that this is a really dumb thing for the IDE to do, since it's not useful information. Apparently this is something they changed recently, because it used to just display the target frame rate.

The problem is that it affects the animation playback, it becomes inhibited and, for example, instead of one second, the animation lasts two.
