Hello! I'm currently in working on a small project and would like to add a virtual camera into it. Issue is, I have no idea how. I'm using Macromedia Flash 8 Profesional, though that's about as much as I know about what version it is.

I mostly do plain illustration so I'm not too knowledgable about animation in general. I've tried a couple of different cameras out (both from Alan Becker's 2016 tutorial) but both come up with error messages, and I don't know how to use any others.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Hi mate,

Check out our sample Movie Template. It is in Flash 8 format and you will see how to nest your work inside a container to use as camera.   https://flash-powertools.com/edapt-movie-template-free-download/

Also, here is some general information how you should set up your files for animation:   https://flash-powertools.com/workflow/

All of it is universal and applies to Flash 8.

Hope this helps!
