Where do u draw your characters and objects for further animations?

do u use Illustrator or draw right inside Animate? 

I'm not good at vector graphics yet, and i've spent 2 hrs to draw a simple cartoon table in Animate... 

Oh, Lord.. if only it was possible to use Photoshop to draw vectors😂

Hi mate,

 

The simple answer is: the more you do in Animate, the better.

Ideally only painted backgrounds should be imported.

 

Since you seem to be new to Animate, I'd like to offer you two longer articles which would answer many questions - even such that you have not asked yet - and will spare you a lot of pain.

thank u for so detailed answer. Already gone to read articles. Actualy I used Animate before, but it was veeery long time ago, in times where the app was called Macromedia Flash MX)) And of course that was just for fun, but now i need to create some animated scenes for a serious project... and I realised that I forgot almost everything about drawing in flash... here's where the fun stoped ))
