Why can't I use the paint bucket or erase lines on my object?

I searched everywhere, and I can't seem to find a solution. I really want to paint my flashlight, but I can't anything to i. or erase some lines that I don't like, I don't know what pressed in order to mess this up.

because that's a movieclip.  double click it (to edit the shapes) and you should be able to erase, edit and fill.
