Why is my Adobe Character showing up red in Premiere Pro?

I just logged on to my Premiere Pro video to make some edits, and my Adobe Character is showing up red along with the backgroud. I can't find anything about this...help please!

Well, figured it wouldn't hurt to try here...I was having trouble finding the Adobe Character forum...but have since found it, so posted my question there. Thank you.
