Why is my outputed Javascript code file 13,000+ lines when the Javascript I've created in the Action Panel is only !200 lines? For the sake of programming efficiency... can the file be trimmed?

no, or, at least, not easily.

i have about 230 lines of createjs (http://www.kglad.com) and the js file contains more than 19000.  that's what happens when you swap the convenience of using an ide for hand-coding everything.

there may be more economic ide's available, but nothing is going to be as efficient as hand-coding.

You're using a lot of static text, aren't you?

Thanks for the response. Actually, no. I created a number of components in Illustrator and copied them into Animate. Minimal text set in Animate. I'm sure the abundant code is just the canvas stuff in code. right?

Hi.

Illustrator artworks are usually very complex.

If you apply some cleanup to it you're probably gonna get a smaller code.

Though my art is almost exclusively made in AI, I rarelly bring in the illustrator file but rather save images as png. I guess it depends what your workflow is and what kind of fla you are making. My js files are pretty small in general.
