Running Audition 13.07 and an issue (previously reported here) with saved files become "offline" and need to re -associate files before closing session. Post said to use the Beta version of Audition which had solved that problem. It did solve that problem but now the Beta version freezes and crashes frequently and I am losing edits in the sessions. I report on the crashes but working like this is untennable with the amount of work I have to do. Any help is appreciated. **and BTW I am operating an older iMac with iOs High Sierra 10.13.6

I just want to report similar behaviour on my system, albeit not a regular occurrence, but certainly something of an annoyance!
I also installed the Beta because of files going "off-line" in the latest release (no longer a problem in the Beta) but random freezes and crashes are concerning. e.g. I was using the Auto Heal brush in Spectral Editing (Waveform view) to remove minor errors in a spoken word file, had successfully removed quite a number of them, selected another unwanted noise, perhaps a mouth click, and immediately the app crahsed to the desktop. No warning, no error message, just gone. Attempting to re-open the app I receive a message that Audition is still running, do I want to open a new instance? Checking Task Manager shows it as still running in both "Processes" and "Details" view. Attempting to "End Task" does not work because the "Action is forbidden"! Eventually, presumably once it has written some sort of log file, it does close and then the app can be re-opened and work resumed. But there is no "saved" file to be restored, i.e. all work since the last save is lost. (I thought Waveform view created a .temp file which could be restored if the app crashed?)
I've also experienced a number of freezes, e.g., in multitrack view, attempting to do something as simple as move a clip (a very short distance), Audition freezes, "Not Responding" says Windows and nothing can be done - no editing, no playback - until eventually it unfreezes. At this point, whether or not any editing action will cause a further, immediate freeze seems to be purely down to chance; approximately 50% of the time it will freeze again. It does not seem to matter what exact editing action is being attempted, i.e. I have been unable to link this second freeze to any one particular editing action.
I am running the app under Win 10, 1909, i7 6700K CPU @ 4GHz, 32 GB RAM, AMD Radeon R7 360 GPU (driver updated earlier today), more than 1 TB of HD "free" space.

We are currently working on further fixes regarding freezes and crashes. I'll update once the new Au Beta build is available with these fixes. Thanks for your patience.
