I don't know if this is a WO question or an Adobe Audition24 question...When I send a file from AA into WO I use the export function for the sake of expediency. I use save as otherwise. But I run into an issue when saving files in a multitrack session. If I save the session as a new session/same audio, it asks if I want to save the files into the new folder. "Yes" confirms the files are saved using WO Write, then the session crashes, files aren't saved. I don't want to save as WO .wav. I want to save as mp3 or regular .wav. Can you assist?

The files you're using in your session are being imported in Wide Orbit format. The only solution I've found to this is to use the File > Open (or Ctrl-O) option, and make sure you select PCM Wave as the file type for any .wav files you're importing. Other formats are fine for drag & drop. But .wav need to be opened through the file dialogue, with PCM WAVE selected, or else it imports as Wide Orbit format, and that will probably cause Audition to crash when saving the session.
