Feedback: Waveform Still Visible After Deleting Audio in Adobe Audition

Dear Adobe Audition Team I am an Audition user and I want to provide feedback about an issue I have seen many times When I delete audio in the Waveform Editor and save the file the waveform still appears on the screen even though the audio should be gone I have tried clearing all caches deleting peak files and rebooting but the old waveform image still comes back This makes it confusing because I do not know if the audio is really gone or if the program just does not update the visual display It is especially difficult when switching between the Waveform Editor and Multitrack Editor because file references stay in the session even after clips are removed Suggestions Please add a way to refresh or reset the waveform display after destructive edits Add a button to force regenerate peak files Improve the sync between the Media Panel and timeline clips when files are deleted or changed Add a warning if the waveform image does not match the current audio state System info Adobe Audition 25 2 0 123 Build macOS Sonoma 14 5 Using Universal Audio Thunderbolt interface Thank you for your hard work Audition is an amazing tool and I would love to see it become even more reliable for audio editing Best regards Kit

It's a bug - it's known about. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

Thank you. I feel frustrated because when I delete it, it doesn’t go away 😆
