Horizontal Scroll Speed on this thing is a joke

I cannot believe anybody uses this product for anything serious when they cannot even figure out how to adjust the horizontal scrolling speed. I was forced into using Audition for a project and from now on I will refuse all projects that use it. Anybody working on this should be embarrased.

When it works at all.  Half the time I hold down Shift to get a horizontal scroll with my mouse wheel and it scrolls vertically.  Or worse, it scrolls vertically for a few seconds and then starts scrolling horizontally, leaving my window who knows where.

Hello @nicholasw6747995 , @ziquid-joseph, thank you for informing about this bug. We really feel sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. We have accepted this bug where scrolling got degraded from Audition 23.5 onwards. 
We have improved scrolling significantly and it will be available in upcoming Audition release. In the meantime you can try out latest Audition Beta(Creative Cloud->Beta Apps->Audition) and give yourr valuable feedback.
