Firstly yes, I am aware of the issues surrounding using AA3 and Windows 10. Indeed, I have posted in those threads in the past.

This question is a little different.

I currently have AA3 working on my main PC, which is now running the latest version of the OS; 21H1. The new PC I am just building to replace it also has this latest version of Windows 10 but it will not work on there. (I get the usual message about it not being able to find a suitable device.)

The only difference between the two Windows versions is that the new PC is a fresh install whilst the current one has been updated from previous versions. (Not sure how many!)

Oh, and possibly a different Realtek audio driver! (I just thought of that whilst typing this. Will check that out!)

I can't see why it would work okay on the current one but not the new one. Some 'legacy' bit of something left in the former but not the latter, maybe? That's all I can think of.

Of course I also get the same issue with Windows 11. Wonder if it will ever work with that?!

Thanks.
