Hi! I've installed Adobe Audition 2017, but it fails to respond when I try to open it. Then it refuses to quit (or even force quit). This problem may have been occurring before my update to 2017, so I'm not sure it's a result of the update. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling -- several times, in fact -- and the problem persists. Any advice would be appreciated!

You don't say what computer platform you are working on or which OS. Probably the best way to get an answer in these circumstances is to follow the advice in the FAQs.

Thanks! It's a MacBook Pro and the OS is El Capitan.

It may be helpful to sample the process from Activity Monitor.app when you launch Audition and nothing happens.
This would tell us what Audition is doing at the time. Also a screenshot helps.
