Hi everyone,
I got a new computer which was a susbstantial upgrade over my old one.
On my old computer Adobe Audition ran great and I never had a problem with speed.
But, with my new computer it lags a lot even with no effects and a relatively small number of tracks (3-4).
- Click File/Save takes a long time
- Clicking on an audio track and moving it. I'll click and it'll pause for 4-5 seconds and then highligh
- Hitting play, there may be a 3-5 second pause and same with stopping the playback
- And more

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KS 3.20 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 24H2
I have a Scarlett 18i8 audio interface.
I've tried running without it too. MME or ASIO.
I've tried most of the normal suggestions on a Google search for a slow Adobe Audition.
Any ideas?
