Adobe Audition CS6 will randomly need to be signed back in with the account associated with the license. This product is not a subscription based product and was a one-time license purchase. There should be no reason to be forced to sign in when the product is licensed with a key.
Also upon signing in, it will ask for 2FA to allow the log in. The account does NOT have 2FA turned on and should not be asking for such.

For sign-in and licence issues, I'm afraid you have to contact Adobe directly - we have no information about dealing with them here. Sorry 'bout that.

I spoke with Adobe support and they ended up telling me to post here regarding the issue.

They've got a bit of a bad habit of doing that, I'm afraid. Basically it's to get you off their phone lines... but we really can't help - everything to do with authentication and licencing they keep pretty close to their chests, for reasons that are pretty obvious.
If I were to hazard a guess (and it really is a guess) it sounds like the licence details stored (invisibly because they're encoded) in your computer's registry are being subjected to a security access process within the machine. If that's the case, then you need somebody with a reasonable working knowledge of Poledit to have a look at it. Alternatively, if 2FA was ever turned on, it may be that turning it off again may not have been 100% successful. But as I said, this is all speculation...

Hi,
it seems that CS6 has Problems to verify the License. Yes, its a local installed License, but to verify it has to check with a Server. Because CS6 EOL was years ago Supprt sends users to the Support Forum.
