I just switched from Audacity to Audition 2019 using Windows 10 and an Allen and Heath Zed 14 mixer. Hardware Preferences are set up as follows:
Device Class: MME
Input, output and master clock: (3-USB Audio CODEC)
Latenct: 100
Sample Rate: Input 44100Hz Output 48000 Hz
I get absolutely no sound or waveform when attempting to record. Everything works fine in Audacity (with the same hardware settings) but total silence in Audition. Please Help!

How are you trying to record in Audition? If you are using Multitrack, you have to assign an input for the track - a lot of people starting out don't realise this!
But there are also a number of other possibilities. I don't know what you mean about the sample rate - you can only set a single one in the Audition hardware panel. The Zed 14 uses rather a basic USB connection, and it's also only a 16-bit device, but in principle there's no reason why it shouldn't work. I'm assuming that the setting that says 3-USB Audio CODEC is the correct one for the device, but that also looks a bit strange... initially, can you provide a screen-grab of what's on your Hardware settings page in preferences, please?
