New Here ,
Oct 04, 2018 Oct 04, 2018

AUDITION 3.0.1

Nowhere was ever stated, in manuals, forums, and the like, the difference between AUTO HEAL (favorites) and SPOT HEALING BRUSH tool.

Moreover, SPOT H.B. isn't available outside spectral window, AUTO H. is.

Please correct approximate English.

Auto Heal is a Favorite derived from the Click/Pop Eliminator Fill Single Pop effect and works on what ever audio you have selected either on the Waveform or the Spectral View. Whereas, as you rightly point out, the Spot Healing Brush only works in the Spectral frequency view. It relies on you using the brush to paint over what you want to remove and has a variable sized brush. Both have more or less the same effect but the AH favorite is much quicker to use on large clicks, for instance, since it can be applied with one click or via a keyboard shortcut. The SH brush needs much more effort to paint over an area of the waveform but makes it easier to tailor what frequency as well as time you apply it to in the Spectral Frequency view.

Thank you, sir.

So, I understand that the nature, if not the ways, of the correction is the same in SPOT H.B. tool and AUTO H.
