Hey everyone,
I've been paying for an Adobe subscription but have been doing all my VO in Audacity -- figured I'd try Audition since I have it. Unfortunately, Audition isn't allowing me to record anything. Every other application that I use works perfectly fine with my setup but Audition -- not so much. Maybe you guys have some ideas?
Windows Setup
Running VoiceMeeter Potato
Shure MV7 is on my VoiceMeeter Output (VB-Audio VoiceMeeter VAIO3)
Windows Sound has VoiceMeeter Output set to Defaut Recording Device; detects signal from mic.
Audacity
Recording Device is set to VoiceMeeter Output
Can successfully record audio.
Discord
Input Device is set to VoiceMeeter Output
People can hear me.
Teams
Input Device is set to VoiceMeeter Output
People can hear me.
Adobe Adution
Edit > Preferences > Audio Hardware...
Device Class: MME
Default Input: VoiceMeeter Output
Default Output: My Headphones
Clock: VoiceMeeter Output
Edit > Preferences > Audio Channel Mapping...
Default Stereo Input 1/2: VoiceMeeter Output 1/2
Output: My Headphones
File Channels: 1 - Headphones
File Channels: 2 - Headphones
Track 1
Input: Stereo > [01S] VoiceMeeter Output
I hit the record button and I'm not getting any waveforms or action in the mixer. Now, assuming VoiceMeeter was an issue, I swapped all my Audition hardware to use just my Shure MV7 mic and not go through the VoiceMeeter Output and that didn't work, either.
What would be the reason that literally every other app works on my computer but Audition doesn't?
Looking for any suggestions or ideas you all may have. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind. Apparently, you have to push the R on the multi-track to get it to record.
Everything works now.
