Audio Latency in Audition CC

Hi.

I just installed Audition CC on my MacBook Pro. Here are the specs:

I'm using a Yeti USB microphone for input, system for output. I'm getting about a second of latency when trying to monitor for recording. I checked all the FAQs and support pages, played around with buffers and made sure Smart Monitoring wasn't turned on and I'm still getting a delay.

I get no delay with GarageBand, even with two USB mics attached.

I guess I could switch just monitor straight from the Yeti? That'd be okay, right? I'd like something a bit more flexible than GarageBand for podcasting and I was really looking forward to using a pro solution.

I did search the forums, and Google, and the Adobe site, but nothing helped.
