Hey I was following an tutorial on how to install vst plugins on because for some odd reason when I start scanning it stays at 0% & crashes, not to long I tried to reset plugins which still didn't work BUT after when I went to open up an session I was working on the day before all the audio waves were blank .............. plz is there anything I can do

Plugins not loading and sessions 'disappearing' are not related. I'm not quite sure that a tutorial is necessary for installing VST plugins - you use the plugin's installer, make sure that the directory they are installed in is in Audition's list, and scan for changes - job done.

 

Anyway, what are these plugins? Before you try to install any plugins, you have to make sure of two things: firstly that they are 64-bit ones, and secondly that they are not VSTi ones - these won't install anyway.

 

The situation with your session is probably that the session file can't find the audio for the clips, and has left placemarkers. There could be several reasons for that, but we don't know anything like enough about your situation to determine which one. Result is the same anyway - you have to re-link the files.
