Audition 2018 Parametric Equalizer will not work

Adobe Audition 2018 is not working properly. I will add the effect to a track or clip and the animated preview doesn't work after i adjust my frequency bands. The line disappears or the animated preview stops. By then the EQ isn't even EQing.

I'm on a capable machine on the latest OSX.

There are some known bugs being looked into that affect how Audition CC2018 processes mixdowns and effects which might be the cause of your problem. Best to log it with adobe as a bug.
