Audition 3: The "Effects Preset" contents have disappeared from the Multiband Compressor. Why?

Audition 3 Serial Number: <serial number removed>

I opened Audition 3 this morning to find that the contents of the Effect Preset in the "Multiband Compressor" had disappeared and been replaced by a single choice labelled, "Default".

I would be grateful if a member could tell me why this has happened and how the contents can be reinstated. Thank you.
