Audition acting weird at times

New Here ,
Jul 07, 2018 Jul 07, 2018

When recording some radio spots recently, I noticed that I have no problem recording one, then mixing then going back to the waveform file,  I start to record spot 2 behind it but get no waveform printing on the screen. I have to open a new sound file to continue. Any ideas why this is happening?

No, not without a lot more information about your set up. PC type, OS, Audition version, audio interface used? Also a bit more detail of your workflow when this happens would be helpful.
