Hello,
I have this new computer for at least two weeks. I also had Windows 10 updates last night. When I tried to load Audition CC this morning, it's didn't load the screen at all (Plus I had to go to work). On Task Manager it says that it's not responding. How do I fix this problem and have Audition load normally?

Hello,
I forgot to mention that I have updated Audition cc last week. It's the recent updates in Windows 10 that is slowing it down and it caused my laptop to freeze. How do I fix Audition so that it can run faster?
Also, Why doesn't audition save projects on multitrack?

Assuming you are running the 10.1.1 release of Audition, I just tested the start time on my Win 10 PC and, even though I deliberately prevent the Creative Cloud app from starting when my computer boots, it took considerably less than 10 seconds to open fully on first run of the day.
So, your problem is not down to AA but, is more likely, as you suggest, to be a recent Windows update. Perhaps you should try removing recent updates (via Settings>Updates>Update history) until you find the culprit?
Not sure what you mean when you write "Why doesn't Audition save projects on multitrack?". Are you not saving a sesx file when you have completed a session?

At what point in the loading sequence does Audition freeze? Do you see the Audition's flash screen whilst it is trying to open? if so you may see at what point that it stalls since at the bottom left it tells you where it is in the loading sequence. Also Audition creates a log file which might hold information on where it is getting stuck. the log files should be in C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\10.0\logs.

Audition did not freeze, it's my new laptop that did.

Hello,
To answer your last question first. Since my laptop is frozen again but I did save what I have on my podcast (Which is not finished). I might have to log in and when I do go back into my podcast in multitask, and to session; it either doesn't save anything or didn't save the last session but the one previous. So I guess I have to ask why Audition doesn't save session files.
As for the recent update, I don't know the file that is causing it.

Do you have Autosave enabled? If so, at what time intervals?
Perhaps it might also be beneficial in attempting to resolve this problem if you told us the detailed spec of your laptop.

In that case it probably counts as a crash. Audition Crashed. Now what?

Hello,
How do you AutoSave on Audition cc? There is the Export Sessions that I found worked for me.

The Export Session is the right thing to do to make your final version.
However, the Autosave feature is a 'safety net" the automatically saves both your sound files and session files to any location you specify (I use an external HDD, some use the creative cloud) at time intervals you specify. This means that, even if there's a crash, your work is safely saved.
To turn on/set up Autosave, go to Edit/Preferences/Autosave and enter the timings and location you prefer. Note that the default location is the same file as your session so it's likely to show any problems you're having locally--somewhere different is very preferable.

For the record, I have the latest Windows 10 plus the latests Audition. On my first load of the day, it can take almost a minute for Audition to fully open (but it DOES open, no freezes of crashes). However, after the first open of the day, it'll go from fully closed (i.e. not just minimised) to open in under five seconds.
One thing you might look at is to go to the Task Manager screen and see if any Audition processes are running before you try to open. I haven't heard of this issue in several releases, but it did happen a couple of times previously that unwanted processes were left open and, once there were too many, cause problems.
