I have just updated to CC 2017 and I am having all sorts of problems with After Effects and Audition. I will focus on the Audition one.
So I just open an audio file, high the volume, save and it shows an error that there is a problem writing on the disk (working local on an iMac retina 5k 27inch late 2015 with OS X El Capitan) and then it erases the whole wave form... luckily I got back ups, but seriously every year with a new update I got all sorts of problems, a bit more of testing before releasing it would great...
Cheers
Omar

Haven't seen any problem like that before. We need quite a bit more info before being able to throw any light on the problem. Can you walk us through workflow that seems to show this problem.
Does Audition actually save any file at all? What error is Audition showing? What format are you saving the audio as? When you say it 'erases' the whole waveform is this while Audition is still open or when you try to open the saved file once again?

Hi, most of the questions are answered checking the image I have attached in the previous post. Basically is a wav file that I...
1. open
2. high volume
3. try to save - show error it cannot write on disk and suggests to save file (sarcasm?)
4. "erases" waveform and therefore any recorded sound
5. it saves the file without any sound, basically screwing the file
I have solved the problem by going where I saved the file as backup, pasting it somewhere else (my desktop) doing the changes (no problem this time) and replacing the file by the "corrupted one"
why it happened? no idea, but after two days, with the new Adobe cc 2017, I am having these problems with AE, PR and Audition, solving them by renaming files, saving in another locations, etc. etc. etc... just so annoying.
