Audition CC Time window font size

So I'm not to impressed as a septuagenarian about having to go back to school to learn about CC when I have been using Audition since it was Cool Edit Pro and then Soundbooth.

I had my CS6 set up the way I liked with a nice big Time window so I could see the digits.

So why, when I am trying to recreate a workspace I like is the font in the time window much smaller for a given panel size than its equivalent in CC?

When I open CS6 and CC side by side on my monitor and scale the panels to the same size the CC font is half the size of the CS6 one.

I don't want to waste screen area just making the panel bigger so I can see the numbers better, so if anyone can tell me how to increase the font size without sizing up the time panel I would be very grateful.

I'm all for improving things that need improving but in CC I get the feeling that Adobe has changed everything solely to justify their move to a subscription basis.

I'm wondering If I have the years left to relearn Audition

Anne

Unfortunately it isn't just a matter of font size but the way the Dockable Panels are now drawn. In CS6 the panels just had a small tab at the top left on which you had to right click to get to the menu for that panel. The new panels in Audition CC now have a full width header across the top as a tab. This allows access to each panels menu by left clicking on the set up menu icon. This uses a bit more real estate and hence a smaller font has to be used to fit the text into the available display

The new panels in Audition CC now have a full width header across the top as a tab. This allows access to each panels menu by left clicking on the set up menu icon. This uses a bit more real estate and hence a smaller font has to be used to fit the text into the available display space.

However there is now a setting that may improve the Time display height within the box in order to get some of the size back from CS6. Left click on the menu button just to the right of the Time label  and go to the Panel Group Settings. At the bottom of the drop down menu there is a setting for Small Tabs. Make sure that that is activated to get some of the display height back within the Time display panel.
