Audition continues to crash when moving segments of tracks. Need assistance

I am using Adobe Audition CC 2017 on my Mac Pro running OS x Yosemite 10.10.5. Audition crashes each time I cut segments of an individual track in multitrack view then merge the tracks together. I have paused (Dropbox, Google Drive) or quit (Chrome) all other programs when editing. It does not seem to matter the file or session I am working in. My system and Mac are all up to date on software updates. Any advice to resolve this issue would be appreciated. I also have the system log reports if necessary.

The log reports are the key to finding out what's happening here. The best way to find out exactly what you need, and where to send it is to look at this FAQ page:

Thanks SteveG. I was not sure where to submit the log reports I have saved. Can you provide me a direction? I did submit a bug report.
