Audition Files not saving to Premiere

So this has happened three times now where I've taken a file from premiere to audition to edit the sound. Ive spent ages working on it saved it in both sections. It says it's saved and the next day I open the project and nothing has been saved. The only evidence that I have actually worked on it is the PKF file which I have discovered through looking on these forums is useless to me. I should note that I am using a trial version so I'm not sure if it's related to that but it is certainly deterring me from buying this product. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

I would post this on the Premiere forum too, as it's not at all clear whether this is an Audition issue or a Premiere one. Although if you are getting a .pkf with it, this rather points at a Premiere issue, I'd say (although not absolutely). The one thing you do have to be careful about though is making sure that the Premiere and Audition versions you are using are release-matched. If they aren't, then all bets are off, and what you are experiencing may well be a symptom.
